The new dynamic test rig is designed in TsAGI to investigate theaerodynamic damping derivatives of the aircraft models in wind tunnelsat high subsonic and transonic speeds. The action of the rig is based onthe free oscillations method with the use of elastic elements. Thedynamic test rig is equipped with the five component strain gagebalance. Both direct and cross aerodynamic damping derivatives can bemeasured. The comparison of the results for the Standard Dynamic Model(SDM) is presented
