A voltage-fed high-frequency inverter with load voltage boost forinduction heating is analyzed. The inverter circuit works on theprinciple of natural commutation. The voltage across the load is boostedto about 15 to 20 times that of the input DC voltage. Necessaryconditions for the reliable operation of the inverter circuit arederived, and the improvements of the scheme are discussed. The range ofcircuit parameters for which the circuit operates reliably has beensimulated by employing the PSPICE software package, and thecorresponding nomograms are presented
