Human factors in telecommunications technology development andeducation

摘要

The author discusses the importance of generating human resourcesin the areas of telecommunications and information processing with avision centered on the human and moral aspects of the individual. Abasic element of this concept is the creation of an environment thatnurtures and encourages the individual or a group of individuals to setgoals and develop their human potential with emphasis on service to thesociety in which they interact. It is concluded that creating aconsciousness of the need to direct one's life and work to the serviceof humanity is the key element in the process of the education ofengineers and scientists in high-technology disciplines
