The effect of polymer permittivity on wave absorption in thequasimicrowave band has been clarified for polymer composites containingmagnetic metal particles. It was found that the higher the real part andthe lower the imaginary part of the permittivity, the thinner theabsorber. However, in polymer or polymer composites, the real increaseswith an increase in the imaginary part. This means one must carefullychoose the polymer species at the crossing area of the real andimaginary parts of the permittivity when designing absorbers
