Abstract: The magnetostatic waves (MSW) are dispersive in ferromagnetic film wave guide and exhibit wave vector anisotropy so that, in general, the energy flow and wave vector are noncollinear. This paper investigates the dependence of the energy flow direction of linear magnetostatic surface waves (MSSW), volume waves (MSVW), and nonlinear MSSW on the direction of the bias magnetic field H.!3
