Pico- and femtosecond pulses in the UV and XUV

Abstract: Ultrashort pulses in the shortwavelength region are indispensable tool for studying of the molecular dynamics. The compression of nanosecond UV pulses from excimer lasers and the four-wave mixing of femtosecond and picosecond pulses, both in the UV, is modeled.!
