With the help of field modeling of electromagnetic processes in trolley’s busbar, the values of voltage drop in each phase from the influence of higher current harmonics are determined. The relationship between the voltage drop and specific active losses is determined for different frequency spectra and amplitudes of current harmonics, depending on the values of the short-circuit ratio. It was determined that with permissible values of higher harmonics at different value of short-circuit ratio, the voltage drop can exceed in 3.5 times. At permissible amplitudes of higher harmonics, depending on the short-circuit ratio of the network, the resistance increases in 4 times, reactance – 20 times.
