Structural Synthesis of an Acceleration Observer with Sliding Mode Control for Precision Electric Drives

Sliding mode control systems for electric drives have the highest rates of control quality when closing derivatives of velocity regulation errors. They are characterized by the highest speed and accuracy, insensitivity to the action of parametric, coordinate perturbations and invariance to the form of master actions. An effective structural solution to the problem of constructing systems with flexible feedbacks was made by applying sliding modes in control systems both by the electric drive itself and by its acceleration observer. The N-i switching method provides parametric optimization of controllers.
