A PyQt5-based GUI For Operational Verification Of Wave Forcasting System

摘要

Operational statistical verification of numerical wave forecast is an important part of improving the accuracy of numerical model. We design and implement an open source verification GUI which has the characteristics of openness, sharing and freedom. Model developer can avoid making wheels repeatedly, and can quickly build a verification system with the least manpower, material and financial resources on the basis of open source software, besides, customization is also flexible. Through the strength of the NWP community, the downstream users and developers can catch systematic defects and optimize wave model based on metrics and results of verification.
