Through researching on the flicker of Reflective LCD, we found that the flicker of Reflective LCD is mainly related to its Cpd and remaining thickness of Resin Bump. The smaller the remaining thickness of Resin Bump, the larger the Cpd and the more severe the flicker. In order to improve the flicker of Reflective LCD, we adjusted the remaining thickness of the Resin Bump and the arrangement of pixels in design. First, we increased the remaining thickness of Resin Bump from OJlm to 1.03Jlm to increase the distance between SD and the reflective layer. Second, the pixel structure of the product adopts no Resin Bump design on SD to reduce the effect of Cpd. The results show that by using the above two methods, the flicker can be reduced from the original 25% to 7%, which meets the specification.
