A smart grid (SG) is considered as a complex system that has opened new research directions where energy routing problems take important interest. The QoS-aware energy routing problem is a NP-hard problem. Although, the QoS problem is naturally multi-objective optimization problem. Most of the existing approaches related to the energy routing problem in SG solve it in single-objective optimization context using traditional techniques (graph theory, autonomous systems, game theory, … etc). In this paper, we aim to tackle the problem in multi-objective optimization context based on bio-inspired paradigms. To achieve this, we propose an optimized Energy Routing technique using a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) meta-heuristic. This technique requires less computation, and it has the advantages of reliability, fast speed, robustness, strong global convergence ability.
