Increased frequency electrical power systems (IFEPS) are a special case of increased frequency AC systems. Based on the use of power electronics devices, such complexes can be successfully applied as centralized local power supply systems for special purposes technological equipment (for example, electrothermal devices, electrothermal processing, quenching, induction heating, etc.). When calculating operating modes and modeling the IFEPS, it is necessary to take into account a number of their distinctive features such as non-sinusoidal supply voltage, frequency effect on IGBT parameters, surface effect, etc. This article presents a comprehensive methodology for the electrical calculation of steady-state operating modes of increased frequency alternating current systems taking into account the latest research carried out by the authors in this direction. A comparison of the calculated and experimental results is carried out, as well as the identified shortcomings of the method and ways to address them
