The paper presents the possibility of a system stability investigation upon the availability of parametric uncertainties, as an example, a control system of the rolls squeezer mechanism of a barking machine has been taken. The controlled object transfer function with interval coefficients of numerator and denominator polynomials which take into account possible turndowns of time constants have been obtained. The paper considers the application of two methods: a graphical one that is based on using results of the Kharitonov strong theorem and the method of logarithmic quasi-frequency response characteristics. The method of logarithmic quasi-frequency response characteristics has provided a digital governor synthesis to be carried out. The graphical method of investigation of the obtained system has provided the output of the family of modified amplitude-phase characteristics to a complex two-dimensional subspace with respect to Popov line and has visually demonstrated robust unconditional stability of the rolls squeezer mechanism control system of the barking machine.
