Large Eddy simulations were performed on pulsed jets in supersonic crossflow using ANSYS Fluent 2020 R1. One unforced case and a forced case at 5 kHz (St = 0.13) were compared in a supersonic cross-stream of Mach 2. RMS and averaged data were used to compare both cases. Forced cases indicated the formation of large eddies which strengthened the separation shock further upstream as compared to the unforced cases. Forced case also showed a large region of interaction and larger horseshoe vortices in the near field of injection. Time dependent evolution of large scale vortices emerging from injector was also recorded and studied along for one period of pulsation.
