This study aims to develop a service model for an effective museum viewing experience. It conducted a literature review and benchmarking to analyze the ongoing digital transformation (DT) of the entire process of museum visits. The study confirmed that the DT implemented by museums focuses on visitors' viewing experience. In particular, this research observed that accessing the appropriate exhibition information before viewing was challenging. In addition, the lack of DT in recording the viewing experience was confirmed. User surveys were administered to confirm visitors' viewing experience. Data on the exhibition viewing process were collected from the first round of interviews, and insights such as "information search" and "collection" were derived. Based on these insights, another survey was conducted to confirm the task during exhibition viewing. A second round of interviews was held with survey respondents to determine user needs and insights necessary for the proposed service. Based on user needs and insights, this study proposed a DT concept that can collect personalized data on visitor taste based on the display of favorite works. This is expected to provide an effective exhibition viewing experience by recommending exhibitions that suit the taste of visitors and integrate the entire viewing process.
