An Yb Fiber Laser Generating Multi-Milliwatt Picosecond Pulses with Nearly Shot-Noise-Limited Intensity Noise

We propose a polarization-maintaining (PM) Yb fiber laser generating 3-ps pulses at 30 MHz with an average power of $sim 3.3$ mW. Excess noise is suppressed under shot-noise level with several milliwatts output. © 2020 The Author(s)
