Actualization of IT Affordance and Its Application in Research on Medical Service and Management Informatization

The concept of IS affordance has attracted extensive attention in the field of IS in recent years. Research based on this concept will help to understand the differences in user perception and application of IT artifacts. Relevant research shows that the informatization of medical services and management will result in unsatisfactory IT promotion and application because users cannot finally actualize IT affordance. Actualization of IT affordance is closely related to the success of medical services optimized by informationization. With reference to the previous research on medical service informatization based on the actualization of IT affordance lens, the mutually-influencing relationship between the various factors in the actualization of IT affordance is sorted out, thus deriving a brief exploration of the IT affordance actualization mechanism. We attempt to propose a conceptual model to provide a starting point and inspiration for the future empirical research.
