In the environment of low oxygen and low pressure at high altitude, each physiological system in human body will be greatly affected, thus affecting the escape speed of personnel from various aspects. In this paper, the indexes of human body function in high altitude environment have been investigated, and the maximal oxygen uptake has been identified as the main factor affecting the human body's movement function, and the escape velocity of people in high altitude environment has been determined by theoretical derivation. The results show that: as the oxygen uptake of human body gradually decreases with the increase of altitude, the escape velocity of personnel decreases with the increase of altitude, and there is an obvious relationship with gender and age. In conclusion, the evaluation expression of escape velocity of different people at different altitudes has been put forward. The determination of escape velocity at different altitudes provides theoretical basis for the rationality and safety of escape structure design of high-altitude engineering personnel, and is of great significance for disaster prevention and rescue design of high-altitude engineering and safety assurance of personnel evacuation.
