Research and Practice of Virtual Simulation Experiment System for Planning and Control of Digital Factory

More and more attention has been paid to the comprehensive quality and the innovative ability to solve complex engineering problems in cultivating talents in universities. Production Planning and Control is one of the core courses of Industrial Engineering specialty, its syllabus clearly requires students to master the whole process of production planning and control of enterprises, but enterprises cannot allow students to participate in the real production process, and colleges and universities cannot build factories for students to do experiments. The bottleneck of poor teaching effect has been unable to break through. Nowadays, relying on the accumulation of scientific research projects, using virtual simulation technology to build virtual simulation experimental system has become the best choice to provide students with unlimited and repeatable "experimental sites" that can be participated in at any time and eliminate the "blind spots" of traditional teaching methods. Based on the real production data of enterprises, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology has made great efforts to build a "Virtual Simulation Experimental System for Planning and Control of Digital Factories", which has been applied to teaching and achieved good experimental results.
