摘要

The 550kV, 80kA gas circuit breaker successfully passed the T100s test. In order to analyze its interruption capability of the T100a test, this paper performs the interruption simulation which based on fluid dynamics and arc theory. In this paper, the temperature, pressure and axial velocity cloud of the circuit breaker are analyzed. The simulation results show that this circuit breaker's capability of thermal interruption in T100a test is stronger than that of T100s test.
