摘要

This paper introduces the study of Load Frequency Control (LFC) in multi area power system network by the help of Integral Double Derivative with Filter (IDDF) controller. The main aim of LFC is to reduce the steady state error to zero in each area. In this proposed system three equal area interconnected power system is simulated and compared with three different controllers such as: PI, PID and IDDF controller. A maiden attempt has been done using IDDF controller. Here IDDF controller is proposed for improving the system response and oscillation. The result shows the performance of AGC using reheat-turbine and Generation rate Constraints (GRC). The LFC model is designed using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
