Verification and analysis of stationary properties of radio equipment maintenance planning model

The paper deals with the verification of the previously developed Monte Carlo simulation model of the process of operation and maintenance of radio communication equipment. The proposed model allows estimating the Inherent Availability and the Achieved Availability depending on the maintenance periodicity of the equipment. These functions can have a non-linear character that does not let to apply the Fisher criterion. In this paper, we suggest using a method for non-linear model verification. The paper also presents the results of the quantitative and qualitative assessment of the simulation model adequacy to its theoretical analog by means of the coefficient of determination and the Chaddock scale. In order to confirm the correct implementation of the model, it is offered to check its stationary properties by means of the testing statistical hypotheses on the equality of sample means, the homogeneity of variances and the normality of the distribution law of reliability measures estimations calculated using the proposed model. The experimental results show that all hypotheses are confirmed.
