The most functionally important component of ATP system is Balise transmission system for transmitting track signals and track conditions to a moving train. This is to install a Balise on the track and an antenna on the train to transmit digital information to trains passing on the Balise. Balise and Balise antennas are demands will continue to grow, and their performance and reliability will continue to be demanded as simple and key components of the ATP system configuration. This study aims to improve technical development and reliability of Balise transmission system by comparing and analyzing the technical characteristics of Balise air-gap interface using ETCS standard test tool.
