摘要

The radar cross section (RCS) characteristic is often calculated to confirm the reflecting ability of a substance for an incident wave. The bi-static RCS characteristic of a mountain was calculated as the consideration of the landslide prediction system using public broadcasting radio wave. The received power was calculated by the radar equation. And the ratio between the received powers of the direct and reflected waves was calculated and was compared with the measured one. In the consequence, it was confirmed that the calculated result using RCS was similar to the measured one.
