An impact angle control guidance law is proposed for intercepting stationary target considering seeker's field-of-view limit. The proposed impact angle control guidance law consists of proportional navigation guidance and an impact angle error feedback. Impact angle error is defined as the difference between the estimated impact angle of the proportional navigation guidance and the desired impact angle. Most of the existing methods deal with the field-of-view limit by employing switching logic, and therefore guidance commands are discontinuous. Proposed guidance law overcomes the limitation in that field-of-view constraint can be satisfied without any switching logic. The guidance law guarantees the convergence of the impact angle error at a certain range, which ensures the impact angle error convergence before interception. Numerical simulation is performed to demonstrate the performance of the proposed guidance law.
