摘要

The decomposition of low pressure hydrogen peroxide vapor on platinum and silver was investigated utilizing a near-infrared diode laser set to a known H_2O_2 absorption line. Three different catalyst configurations were tested in this study: platinum on alumina spheres, platinum mesh, and silver mesh. The provided reaction rates and catalyst configuration implications could be used for thruster design as well as detailed modeling of vapor phase behavior.
