Key words: Blended-Wing-Body (BWB), Wake Measurements, High Lift devices, Aerodynamics The BWB model that has a large sweepback, washout and a reflex wing configuration was designed referring to the BWB model of Cranfield University. And the basic data of the aerodynamic characteristics of the BWB in low speed flows was investigated by the wake and balance measurement. Also, the effect of Gurney flap was investigated. The main results are as follows. [1] Counter-rotated vortices were generated at both ends of Gurney flap. [2] In the case with Gurney flap the local lift increases not only at the Gurney flap location but also at the entire wing-body sections. [3] The lift and drag obtained by the wake measurement agree with the wind tunnel balance data.
