System for Reporting Inadequate Regional Ifrastructure Using Raycasting-based Geofencing Technique on Mobile Devices

Regional infrastructure is a major factor in increasing regional productivity. So in other words, that infrastructure is the center of economic growth. Regional infrastructure should be sufficient for the population of the region. One of the ways to develop regional infrastructure is with media reporting inadequate infrastructure. The use of smartphone technology and geofencing techniques are considered to be helpful in reporting media. In this study, researchers will discuss media reports using these technologies. In addition, the raycasting method will also be added to the application of geofencing techniques. This method can determine whether the location coordinates are within the government area. In addition, location details can be known. So the government will more easily coordination the report. Experiments conducted to determine the accuracy of the methods used have also been carried out. With a high level of accuracy, this method is considered feasible to be applied to help the media report regional infrastructure development.
