A pneumatic anti-vibration apparatus (AVA) has been used for suppressing the vibration from floor in the precision machine field. This paper considers applying central pattern generator (CPG) in order to suppress flow disturbance, which is caused by pressure fluctuation of compressed air supplied to pneumatic AVA. Biologists have shown that CPG controls the rhythmic movement observed in animal locomotion. This paper indicates the process of applying CPG to the pneumatic AVA based on linear analysis. In addition, the control method using internal information in CPG is proposed for further vibration suppression. Validities of the proposed methods are presented by experimental results.
