This paper looks at utilizing a fuzzy inference system in a lithium-ion battery management system. Taking into account various cell properties such as the current voltage, temperature, and cell health, the fuzzy inference system is able to determine appropriate charging or discharging. This is done to ensure the longevity of the battery pack as well as ensure safety of life and property.
