This paper sets forth an analysis over the waveforms of the electromagnetic actuators. Due to modulation the resulted sinusoidal load current is one of the inherent drawbacks, issuing a poor response time and high losses. The following work investigates the possibility of using a particular type of modulation, which will fix the time delay problem and will decrease the losses. A potential solution to the shortcomings which occur in the case of sinusoidal modulation is the implementation of the adaptive-delta modulation, using an element with a similar behavior as the electromagnetic generator coil within the reaction loop of the modulator.
