Dielectric Coat Influence on Equivalent Surface Impedance of an Infinite Periodic Array of Slot Impedance Load

The problem of the excitation of an infinite array of slot impedance loads with the dielectric coating by the plane wave is considered. Each array element consists of three volume. The first one occupies the entire half-space above the boundary. The primary field is excited there by a plane wave. The second volume is the dielectric layer. The third volume is the rectangular cavity. The second and the third volumes are connected by slots in the perfect conducting screen located on their boundary. To solve the problem the integral equations method was used, for its calculation the Krylov-Bogolyubov method was applied. Numerical results are shown as the equivalent surface impedance dependencies on construction geometric dimensions for fixed array period, and dielectric layer thickness.
