As a whole, evaluating health risks of LFN (20-200 Hz) from wind turbines is important. To assess LFN levels in local community is the first step to evaluate health risks of wind energy. This study aims to measure exposure of LFN to near-by residents (L_(eq) dB(A)) from wind turbines. L_(eq) dB(A) in indoor environments close to one type of wind turbines with different building materials (cement (CM), cement with brick (CB)) were assessed with concurrent outdoor L_(eq) dB(A) measurements with sample size of five-min measurements up to 576. Preliminary results indicated that average sound level differences of outdoor and indoor environments were 13.8-14.3 and 8.4-10.9 dB(A) for house 1 and house 2, respectively, in the wind speed in the range of 0-2 m/s. LFN reduction were significantly different between the two types of residences. Those results of continuous monitoring for LFN will be used in the subsequent health impact assessment.
