摘要

In the present work, microwave dielectric and shielding properties of (BaxMg1-x)(Ti0.95Sn0.05)O3 {x = 0.025, 0.05} compositions synthesized using conventional mixed oxide route were investigated in the Ku-band. For the measurement of these properties, vector network analyzer was used. The relative permittivity (ɛr) of synthesized compositions ranged from 4.12 to 18.98 and loss tangent (tan δ) ranged from 0.0012 to 0.93. Composition with x = 0.025 exhibited shielding effectiveness SE > 10 dB with a bandwidth of 1.8 GHz and composition with x = 0.05 exhibited SE > 10 dB with a bandwidth of 1.9 GHz. The present compositions are proposed as electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields in the Ku-band.
