This paper presents design and simulation of a bowel shaped and loaded conical dielectric substrate horn antenna using CST Microwave Studio. The antenna designed characteristics have been discussed such as reflection coefficient, gain, group delay for input and output waveforms. It is observed that antenna radiates between 0.5-12.5 GHz with reflection coefficient below -50dB. Therefore, antenna lies in ultra wide band and can be utilised in wide application of wireless applications. Antenna has broadside radiation pattern with low directivity.
