We present a software automation implementation method for generating parametric scattering center models of complex targets, the only required input to the software named RTPA is a computer-aided design (CAD) model of the target, which has been multilevel disassembled, finally, the scattering center model can be automatically outputted by the software. Following this, we establish parametric models of BTR70 target, reconstruct the radar characteristics and compare with the measured data, the parametric model is evaluated by quantitative evaluation index. The validities of the method are verified through the results.
