Broadband-Tunable Cascaded Vernier Silicon Photonic Microring Filter with Temperature Tracking

We report a 4^th-order Vernier silicon microring filter consisting of two cascaded stages with 32 nm tuning range and better than 30 dB isolation. On-chip thermistors allow device temperature to be tracked with ±0.1°C accuracy.
