Autonomous vehicles include cars which are driverless. The vehicles are battery powered. This project describes an autonomous police vehicle, that has been designed and implemented in order to avoid collision and detect speeding above the defined limits, and also detect cars when suddenly changing lanes without indicating, and also tailgating. The system processes information received from ultrasound and LiDAR sensors, and controls the output of motors, display, and send messages, utilizing the GPS and GSM modules, and text and data to alert the authorities to traffic violations. The project output helps to reduce injuries and fatalities and hence improve human health.
