PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure for absorbing impact energy due to a collision accident.;SOLUTION: Two spindles 1 movable back and forth are disposed in a bottom section on both sides of a vehicle. Four springs 6 are fixed to each spindle 1, and are held by coupling 4. For the external pressure energy received from the collision or rear-end collision, the vehicle is stabilized using elastic force for restoring the springs 6. In the collision accident, the external pressure energy conducts to two spindles 1 in no time, and they are pressed back together with the attached springs 6. However, the springs 6 fixed to the spindles 1 bound against pressed shapes of themselves and intend to return to original shapes, and at this time the external pressure energy loses force.
