Survey of incremental learning

摘要

Incremental learning has become a new research hotspot in the field of machine learning. Compared with traditional machine learning, incremental learning can continuously learn new knowledge from new samples and preserve most of the knowledge that has been learned before. This paper is an overview of the existing incremental learning, and introduces the current popular incremental learning methods from incremental supervisory learning and incremental unsupervised learning, and shows the potential in application. Finally, online incremental research is prospected in this paper.
