Molecular-level assessment by Orbitrap MS demonstrated that the dissolved organic molecules with higher DBE-0 were more readily oxidized than those with lower DBE-0 during KMnO_4 treatment. These unsaturated molecules are the primary pool elevating dissolved COD_(Mn) in Lake Inba.
