摘要

Continuous O_3 exposure for 8 h day~(-1) is sufficient to maintain clear water in aquaria and turbidity at 0.4 NTU, equivalent to performing 80% water exchanged in a 600 L aquaria tank. Fish survived with no water exchange performed for 380 days and 0.03 mg L~(-1)0_3 concentration detected in the water over time. 0_3 degrades color in aquaria at ambient temperature and long-term operation efficiently, maintaining the aesthetic beauty of the aquaria. Ozone-DHS-USB system solved the water exchange necessity issues, provides water security and leads to a maintenance-free system for aquaria.
