Zinc contamination in surface water of the Umeda river, Japan during rain event

摘要

In this study, the results indicated that Zn concentrations during rain events were higher than the environmental quality standards in the river. The high Zn concentrations were likely due to the discharges from non-point sources to the riverside coinciding with heavy rainfall.
