Pollution characteristics of PM_(2.5) during high concentration periods in the multi-industrial city of Ulsan, South Korea

摘要

Recently, it is important to identify the reason for the high concentration of particulate matters (PM)due to an increase of high pollution events regarding PM_(2.5) in South Korea. Although the cause ofthese phenomena is mostly due to the long-range transport effect from China, the PM pollution isalso affected by the local emission sources. Especially, Ulsan city which has large industrialcomplexes is influenced by local pollution sources.
