WELCOME FROM THE CHAIRS

Welcome to mighty Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ~ The Steel City - for this year's annual IMECE! We are thrilled to bring together colleagues in academia, industry, and government in a stimulating environment to promote scholarship, innovation, and social investment not only to advance the mechanical engineering discipline but also to address technical challenges confronting the globe. Through the exchange of ideas and interdisciplinary collaborations, IMECE hopes to facilitate the creation of the next round of engineering discoveries and developments to improve health care, transportation, space exploration, new product design and manufacture, and energy. Our conference comprises 13 Technical Tracks with over 2,500 presentations, representing high-impact scholarly work that encompasses a diverse range of topics from the fundamental to the applied. In addition to the technical sessions, our agenda seeks to build partnerships among our communities, promote leadership development, and engage with our students - the future of our society.
