Integrated Energy Modeling - Present status of Pakistan vs. World

摘要

The focus of the current study is to highlight the Integrated Energy Modeling lEM efforts already done in Pakistan and to do a comparison with the lEM done around the world. The results highlight that using customized software tools for lEM are important for decision accuracy. The actual capacity of lEM will become apparent when the experts will begin categorizing and estimating a host of policy options, at both the strategic and operational levels. It will impartially and dispassionately affirm whether projects are viable or not, taking into account any amount of preferences and concerns researchers may want to throw in it.
