The passage of typhoon Kujira was observed in detail by multiple satellites and observation data. Satellite observations revealed typhoon-induced sea surface temperature and sea surface salinity decrease, respectively and increase in the chlorophyll concentration. The observation data showed that the direction of the flow field above 450m was affected by wind stress when the Typhoon transit and after the typhoon lasted more than a week. The typhoon has had a significant impact on depth above 450 m. It, improves the barren sea surface environment of Yongxing Island area in summer and is conducive to the growth of Marine life.
