PVA films and hydrogels show greatest structural reinforcement with the lCNC/4ChNF samples 3. Initial results show composites containing charge-matched nanofillers do not possess the highest performance 4. Ongoing work focuses on completing hydrogel characterization and aerogel generation 5. Generated materials hold potential applications in packaging and biomedical fields.
