Magnificent volcanic landscape are easily observed in this Kuibishan Geopark, such as xenolith from upper mantle, dyke, regularly spaced units of well-developed column joint, magma mingling landscape, epiclastic and pyroclastic deposits. However, owing to the overdevelopment of tourism, this could pose serious threat to the natural landscape and its value. Therefore, this study applied multi-temporal UAV-based photogrammetry to monitor the change of landscape resource and investigated the number and spatial routes of visitors in Kuibishan Geopark. According to the analysis of multi-temporal photogrammetry, this research detected the obvious landscape erosion on the top of Chi-yu. Besides, By means of visual approach, hot zone of tourism activities are highly concentrated on the top of Chi-yu, where this precious landscape indicating the former eruption and intrusion of Miocene volcano. What is more serious is that the annual amount of visitors is more than 170000 both in 2016 and 2017. The monthly maximum visitors is about 53,719 in July and the daily maximum visitor is 3260. However, the intertidal area of the tourism activities in Geopark is only about 0.7 Km2. The implication of these results suggest the the authorities in charge of the Geopark may enhance the promotion of landscape conservation and make visitors to Geopark aware of frailty and sensitive of nature landscape.
