Timed Petri nets are well suitable to simulate discrete event systems in the visual and mathematical forms. In this paper, they are used to analyze emergency vehicles preemption control systems of T-shaped intersections for the first time. Their applications in mediate and immediate urgent scenarios of three-phase T-shaped intersections are illustrated. Such models allow us to identify and avoid the serious conditions by the alternating phases of traffic lights. The analysis of the traffic transitions phases by using the reachable graph with time information is presented. Finally, the models' important attributes, such as liveness and reversibility, are analyzed.
